Sawdust Soup

It's tough out there. But what a great time to rethink your business plan. I'm interested in talking with some like minded business owners who are also interested in exploring new growth opportunities.

George,

I'm not a woodworking business owner, but I do provide consulting to woodworking shops.

I have been encouraging my clients and those who read my blog to look in the same directions you are talking about. What have you been exploring.

Prior to this economic environment my focus was entirelly high end custom residential work. Equiped as we are, we have the ability to do comercial work and closet systems. With a little rethinking and with the efforts of our core group, we have spent the last year working on expanding into those areas. We are continually looking for areas like those that we can move into that we didn't use to compete in.

We can help by providing veneered materails at very competitive costs points due to efficient manufacturing. We can provide ready to install panels and woodwork in very short lead times.
