Hi Will,

Welcome to the Lean group.  I hope this provides a venue to engage further in applying Lean Thinking in your business.  You can check out my website at www.thecenterforleanlearning.org, and you can also find some videos that we have started posting on YouTube about projects that we have/are working on.  Can you share a little about your company and the motivation for thinking Lean?  If you like, you can correspond with me directly at usti@wmis.net.

Just ran across this fascinating column from John Shook at the Lean Enterprise Institute. It talks about suggestion systems at GM and Toyota and how Toyota actually copied its original suggestion system from Ford. It's good reading for anyone trying to encourage continuous improvement in their operation.
