Comment by Will Sampson on July 23, 2009 at 12:01pm - Just ran across this fascinating column from John Shook at the Lean Enterprise Institute. It talks about suggestion systems at GM and Toyota and how Toyota actually copied its original suggestion system from Ford. It's good reading for anyone trying to encourage continuous improvement in their operation.
