In 1996 I started a forum on a new-fangled thing called a web site. At the time, I thought it was the neatest thing in the world, giving people a chance to communicate with each other. In the ensuing 13 years everything about the Internet has changed, and today community is all the rage.

- Hi Bruce. I ran my antivirus and didn't find anything. That doesn't mean there isn't something in my computer, but my antivirus didn't find it. I'm curious about something. We have 308 members now, why isn't there more activity in the groups and blogs? Maybe you should do a survey of members to find out why they joined. What are they looking for? What deliverables can be developed that will engage them in the site? Also, why so few upholstery people? I suppose I should be able to answer that, but I can't. I contacted 40+ upholstery companies and only 1 signed on. It's perplexing that we have such a great potential tool here that isn't being tapped in to.
