People also perceive that if it Amish built it is also less expensive. This is usually true as they do not have to pay the taxes other company have to by law. I find it is more about rice than quality.

Does the term "Amish built" bother you at all ?

This morning I saw an ad for a local furniture store that was running a sale on Amish built furniture. Now I know that there are alot of fine Amish craftsmen out there but most of the Amish shops in my area are using the same tools, and the same building process that I use. The only difference is I use electricity to power my tools and they use a diesel powered belt system to power theirs. I get a little annoyed when the general public thinks that Amish built means better built. OContinue
