I've had a Grizz G0555x 14" bandsaw with 6" extension for over a year. Use it to prep green logs up to about 11-1/2" thick for bowl turning all the way down to cutting dimensioned lumber. Like David, I use Timberwolf blades exclusively. Problem I've…

Thermwood is a great company who actually builds their own office furniture with their machines. Great customer service and training. Many shops get great results with E-cabinet software. For a small shop who relys on custom high end... look at Aspi…

Carol, Most of the response to social media appears to be service oriented businesses that can provide non-manufacturing product... How woodworking companies using this venue? Do they have employees twitter at lunch to drive consumers to their websi…

I think all small and medium shops will be anxious to see good things come from this change. The phrase "too small to be big & too big to be small" is a reality for many small businesses when it comes to suppliers, insurance, employee issues, and go…

I have the 6" with a the extension. The table is a little smaller than I would like but I have limited space. The Grizzly that I have has bearing guides and can be a challenge to set the blade but once you get it comfortable, it works well. I found…

Although I do not have a Grizz BS, my G0444Z table saw and my lathe (G1067Z) have been excellent values. I will buy more Grizz as I need. Bill

Don't know about the grizzly model but last year I bought a Woodmaster drum sander 38" for $2400. A great machine. The big deal is the way a feeder belt tracks, this one is easy & precise to adjust and stays true. They have smaller models. Let us kn…

Sorry, Dave. Change can be hard, but also the best thing that ever happened to you. My Dad often told me when you work for someone else, that's fine but don't forget that as much as they my like you, your'e a commodity. No more indispensable than a…

Bob- you have probably figgured your problem out by now, But I wonder if the problem is not in the press but the adhesive application or the cleanliness of the particle board. If the other plant is identicle, and you don't think the bend in the pres…

In a previous shop, I used a Grizzly 14" Delta knock off. It was complete trash. Currently I use the Grizzly G0569 24" unit. It is a great saw and we have been very pleased with it. Hope this helps, Ralph Bagnall www.consultingwoodworker.com

You could say I have enough colors up front to get very close so I spend little time now hitting the perfect match because I'm almost there already. I do not charge for custom color matching, I consider it one more reason I'm very busy while others…
