Welcome Jim. I am planning to visit the campus soon to see if I can add anything to the learning experience from a Lean perspective. As you know, Lean is getting a lot of attention in our industry today and students should be learning the Lean business model right along with machine operation, design, engineering, etc. Is Lean a part of the program?

Jim,you may recall we had dinner with Ricardo from Atlantic Machinery a few years ago. It's great to see you and your students actively engaged in Sawdust Soup! Welcome! I just got a letter from a school shop teacher in California whose school is threatening to close his program. It's nice to see a strong educational program like yours succeed.
