I’ve heard from friends about a large insurance provider and a financial company that recently ended their work-at-home arrangements. One of the largest relocations back to the office took place recently, when IBM asked all of its 2,600 marketing employees to relocate to offices in one of six cities, according to a report in Quartz Magazine. Employees working at home would have to commute, or, if they lived in another city, move to the city where the office was located or find another job.…See More

Arauco breaks ground on new particleboard plant

Arauco North America has broken ground on its $400 million particleboard plant. The new operation will employ more than 250 and will make both raw particleboard and TFM. The Grayling particleboard plant is reported to be one of the largest mills of its kind. When completed the new location will feature North America's largest continuous particleboard press.The Arauco Grayling plant will create approximately 700 construction jobs and about 250 permanent jobs.
