Our CNC lathe continues to add new potential products to our list! At 11" x 15 3/8" x 36" in Genuine Mahogany, we now have the ability to turn ovals without changing centers.
I must have watched this a dozen times, amazing!! We do turning here as well but not much larger than 10"-12". The pictures of your columns look real nice as well.

Hi, Chris! I don't know if this will work for your needs, but one of the lease expensive & easiest to learn drawing programs for shop drawings may be DeltaCad. It has it's limitations, but many small woodworking shops can use it in conjuction w/the…
We have the abilility to create custom columns using many reclaimed species from local suppliers. Although we are not a certified shop, we can produce using FSC certified lumber or locally sourced material.
Hi Lisa, Thanks for the invite. I added you as a friend too. Maybe there will be networking opportunities later. We can do a lot of crazy things with our 3D CAD softwares and shop.
Lisa at differt times I ger involved in restoration work. I hire out all my spindle and column work. coneticut is a ling way but you never know. currently we have 8 columns thqt are 8" x 8" x 8'-11" long. they are a specific pattern approximently 2'-0" square section and then the rest is round with firly simple pattern. Is this something that you might do?
I've had people ask in the past where to get new columns for their homes and I didn't really have someone that I could refer them to other to tell them to look on the web. At least now I have a contact.
My house has 4 - 20"d x 18' columns. They are made of pine and a real pain to keep up with the painting and rot. I've made sure they have good ventilation up through the center but still have the peeling and rot problems. Any suggestions?
Thanks Lisa. I look forward to future exchanges with you and learning more about what you do. I travel a lot and visit a number of plants around the country. Maybe there will be networking opportunities in the future.
Please INVITE your co-workers and other woodworkers to join your network.
