Hi, Roger,
Follow up calls are great if you can find the time to do it. They often result in repeat business, or great word-of-mouth advertising. Even a quick follow up is sure to be appreciated by most customers.
Good luck with your shop!
We here at Trinity Crafted Doors Inc., in Oklahoma City Ok., make only cabinet doors.
This is a two person operation (father and son). We started business in January of 2001.
Boy it was a hard start up here with several well known, and large compani…
The customers are out there, and many have relied on the good ol’ “Word-of-Mouth” advertising. There are a several ways to reach customers; this is a place to discuss what you are doing, what is working and what seems to be the most cost effective.
We build cabinet doors here and thats all we do.
I've been back on many jobs after the finish work is completed. Some (stain / glaze) jobs look really good, others look, well, (barn paint) comes to mind! I would look for really professional finish p…

I had a rust problrm for several years, then a friend ask if I had some acid, and I gave it to him to keep.

Roger,
We manufacture a Shape & Sand machine that features two counter-rotating quick-change cope spindles and two counter-rotating quick-change sander heads. We have built many of these machines, and the Flex-Trim sanding heads have been our custom…
Flex trim is the brand.
The flat disc with the brushes going almost to the center is the one.
A sales person from the company said it would work th sand the profile on raised panels,
so I also would like feedback from an actual user!
I'm not sure I know exactly the kind of sanding brushes you are talking about. Can you give us a brand or model or other reference or link to an online ad? There's no restriction on use of brand names here.
Is there anyone out there that uses those sanding cups that you can replace the sanding brushes on the head? The one I'm most concerned about is the one advertised in some woodworking magazines.
We use freeborn cutters, and hand feed the panels so there is controll and less blowouts, They are kept sharp, however the ends need some touchup sanding, so for the stain or finish to be right , we sand all the way around the profile cut of the rais…
There are many options, but how much sanding needs to happen? How are you raising the panels now, and can that process be improved to minimize the sanding required? This is where I would be looking first. Minimize the sanding needed and answering yo…
Roger,
Here is a link to the Shape & Sand I was referring to earlier. It can make all of the parts on your website products page and several other shapes you don't show. It sands both straight and arched panels. It also sands outside profiles.

If you visit our site you can also check out or other machinery by holding the mouse pointer over the "Machines" link on the upper left. The Single Spindle Shaper and Dual Spindle Shaper may also be of interest to you.
Our contact info is listed on the site, feel free to call me with any questions.
Thanks.
