I think it comes down to recognizing you are in a wholesale relationship rather than the retail relationship you have when you deal directly with a customer. By selling wholesale, you take a less in, but you aren't paying for the marketing and sales…

Seems the norm is a 50/50. Occasionally, you may find a gallery with a 60/40 ratio, But generally your work sits longer in those places too. For special orders, on true custom pieces, an 80/20 spilt seems to be real common. It's tough to swollow tho…

I own quite a few Delta and Porter-Cable tools. I use Delta miter saw and Porter-Cable routers most, along with sanders and nail guns. My vintage Rockwell-Delta radial-arm drill press is great, too.
