Sawdust Soup

We reviewed Rockler's innovative Bench Cookies in CabinetMaker+FDM magazine, and you can see our video review on our website. From the first time we saw this clever work support devices, we were enthralled with the possibilities, many of which go beyond woodworking. For example, I use a set in the office to lift up my laptop computer and allow more air circulation for cooling. But that's nothing to some of the reports Rockler has been getting. They are apparently even being requested by Marines in Afghanistan. Has anybody here on Sawdust Soup found some unusual uses for these ingenious devices?

Lol, this is pretty cool. So according to the article I need to get more of them before Courntey realizes that she can use them to paint as well, I like the idea of putting them under the laptop. Best I can do is that I lined up four of them for a long and narrow carving. Thanks for the link to the article!
