SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw

It's finally here. The new SawStop 10" Professional Cabinet Saw was available for pre-orders starting May 4th. This new 3HP cabinet saw is designed to be a mid-model in between the industrial cabinet saw and the contractor saw. It's primarily designed to compete in the market with table saws such as the Powermatic PM2000. I've posted a picture below of the model.

The saw is available in two models: one with a 36" fence/rail system and the other with a 52" fence/rail system. It comes complete with a 3HP single phase motor, improved dust collection system, a tool-free quick-change insert/blade guard system allowing you to switch between blade guard and riving knife very quickly, high quality T-Glide fence system, and SawStop's patented safety system.

All of this for a price of $2,899 (36" fence) or $2,999 (52"). As an added bonus, SawStop is including a free titanium blade with every pre-order.

The saw comes available with optional accessories including two mobile base options and a 30" outfeed table.

This saw will definately add some competition into the mid-size table saw market and should prove to be an excellent product for years to come.
