The USDA's Biomass Crop Assistance Program could take wood products away from the wood industry and give it to the biomass fuel industry to burn as fuel. Taxpayers could be on the hook for a $500 million subsidy to make this happen, according to a communication from Tom Julia at the Composite Panel Assn.,
